Kesh Apartments opened in August 2015. We had just one apartment, the Kesh at Aamira Apartment. We choose to rent out on short-term because we preferred having the apartment available as a guest home while also providing some rental income. We soon realized the need for short to medium term accommodation in Canberra. Many of our guests were business people coming from interstate and working several days; sometimes up to a week or two in Canberra. We initially also provided a study, computer desk and laser printing facilities with fast internet connection, but our clients expanded to include families on holiday and even guests travelling from overseas. We accommodated these guests by including a large screen entertainment and Netflix. Our guest soon described Aamira “as home away from home”. We subsequently purchased Hudson Square, Mezzo and then Infinity Towers. In 2019, we expect to open the Lumi Apartment, in Gungahlin, a luxury 2 bedroom apartment on the 5 th floor as well as Cirrus in Belconnen, situated immediately outside the Westfield Belconnen mall. Cirrus will have waterfront views and will be on the 9 th floor. All our apartments are owned by us, so we often invest in improving the inclusions knowing our investment will pay back by offering quality inclusions and furniture. Our moto is “Focused on Comfort” and we now see this together with cleanliness, and attention to detail as the key to our success.
